A small ensemble, with a big band sound, the Stardust Trio specializes in the danceable music of the twenties, thirties and forties. The nostalgic sound of ALAN SHELTON’s muted horn, along with PHIL DE TORE’s rhythm and mellow vocals, are a perfect compliment to Jay’s solid stride piano.

Leader, JAY C. MUNNS, has specialized in the great song hits of the twenties, thirties and forties for four decades, and has performed for two U.S.

presidents and a host of celebrities including Bob Hope, Cary Grant and Jimmy Stewart. Alan Shelton is a vintage jazz specialist and leader of his own Royale Garden Dixieland Band. Phil De Tore has been performing since 1937 and has worked with artists including Jerry Vale, Vicky Carr, and Nat King Cole. The Stardust Trio brings back the era of elegant and danceable music from Art Deco hotel ballrooms, dance halls and cozy nightspots when swing was king.
